Jenna Sarjeant Physiotherapist, CSCS, NCCP trained Coach

Meet Jenna!

Hi! I’m Jenna! A registered physiotherapist, movement mentor, educator and passionate advocate for girls in sport.

Growing up, I played all the sports. I had a competitive spirit and loved being part of a team. But, when I was 12, I had really bad knee pain. The only solution I was given was to take the year off and “hoped I grew out of it”. Can you imagine being told you can’t do your favourite thing for an entire year?

During that year off I spent a lot of time in physio clinics which first exposed me to the profession. But along the way I knew there had to be a better way.

Fast forward to today: I’m a registered physiotherapist, founder of FAME physiotherapy. With a dream to help young female athletes have their best season yet both in and out of sport. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, dealing with growing pains, feeling burnt out or just want to feel stronger and more capable, this space was created for you.

My goal is to offer more than just physio. At the intersection of wellness and rehab, coaching and mental performance, FAME physio aims to make every client feel safe, seen and supported. I’ve lived through burnout, injury, self-doubt and body image struggles. I’ve been the girl on the sidelines, and now I get to be the mentor who helps girls come back stronger.

My Credentials

  • Bachelor of Science with Specialization in Human Kinetics, University of Ottawa

  • Master of Physical Therapy, McGill University

  • Recipient of the Sandra Pearlman Memorial Prize, given to the graduating student who demonstrates the qualities of a caring professional

  • Certified Ringette Coach with 10+ years of experience coaching A, AA and AAA levels

  • Part-Time Faculty at Georgian College teaching Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant Students

A Bit More About Me:

When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll find me reading a good book, exploring the outdoors, lounging at the beach and hanging out with my pup Rickie.
