However, some insurance companies MAY require a doctor’s note for reimbursement. -

Although working with girls aged 6-18 is my passion, I work with women and girls of ALL ages and abilities. Also, if you have a male in your life that you would like to send to me, I am happy to work with them too!

Great question! Depending on where your injury is located, make sure that I can fully expose that area. So shorts work best for knee injuries and tank tops work great for shoulders! Otherwise, make sure you are able to move, stretch and squat! Running shoes are a good idea, but not necessary.

The Initial Assessment is all about getting to know each other. I will spend about 15-20 minutes asking you questions about your background, the history of your injury and other relevant health information. Then we will get into the assessment. I will take you through tests for your range of motion, strength and other movements to see where you are currently at. We’ll even get to some treatment that first day! Lastly, you can expect to be sent home with some care instructions and exercises to do at home!
